| Abstract: | У науковій публікації проаналізовано вплив цифровізації на банківську діяльність України. Окреслено проблеми під час впровадження цифровізації. Водночас проаналізована Комплексна програма розвитку фінансового сектору України до 2020 року. Особливу увагу приділено системі електронних платежів, детально проаналізовано її завантаженість. Досліджено виникнення ринку fintech в Україні, окреслено проблеми та перспективи його розвитку в Україні. Розглянуто впровадження електронного документообігу, системи Bank ID, Центру оброблення та зберігання даних і електронного архіву НБУ. Зазначається проблема кіберзахисту в банківській системі України. Виокремлено позитивні результати впливу цифровізації на банківську систему України та наданий графік щодо кількості відділень банків за останні три роки. Зроблено висновки та перспективи подальшого стратегічного розвитку у зазначеному напрямі. |
| Description: | Banking functions as a circulatory system of any country, to which can be attributed accumulation, distribution, and hence reallocation of the monetary resources. This scientific publication analyzes the impact of digitalization on banking activities in Ukraine. Nowadays, new technologies penetrate into all spheres of human life, clearly affecting not only the economic relations of the state, but also the relations of a financial nature. Almost all countries are gradually beginning to introduce a "digital economy" based on computer technology, due to its obvious competitive advantages at innovative development of economic systems at various levels. Correspondingly, the digitalization is transferred into the banking system, which still plays an important role in the efficient functioning of each country, as it is the banks that work with the country's payment system, are the main source of credit and act as a reliable repository of money. Therefore, anything impacting the banking sector is important and requires detailed research and analysis. Despite the significant number of publications about the processes of digitalization in the banking system, not enough attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of digitalization on banking activity in Ukraine in recent years, taking into account current indicators, their problems and prospects.This paper notes the problems of Ukraine during the introduction of digitalization. The Comprehensive Program for the Development of the Financial Sector of Ukraine until 2020 is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the nonQcash economy, namely the electronic payment system. The reasons for the emergence of the fintech market in Ukraine are provided. The introduction of electronic document management, Bank ID system, Data Processing and Storage Center and electronic archive of the NBU are considered. The problem of cyber defense in the banking system of Ukraine and the most common types of cybercrime are noted. The positive results of the impact of digitalization on the banking system of Ukraine are highlighted and a figure of the number of bank branches for the last three years is provided. The graph on the impact of digital transformation on the level of the bank's profit in relation to potential profits and losses is provided. The further Strategy of Fintech development in Ukraine till 2025 is specified. Conclusions have been made and prospects for further strategic development in this area have been identified. |
