Фразеологічний світ Мар'яна Демського / Орися Демська

Abstract

Анотація. Історія українського мовознавства зосереджена на осмисленні процесу виникнення та розвитку лінг- вістичної думки від найдавніших часів і до сьогодні. У фокусі досліджень перебувають мовознавчі теорії, напрями, течії, школи. Існує не дуже багато праць, у яких би йшлося про думання вченого, про причиново-наслідкові зв’язки формування його наукового погляду, про вплив середовища і подій на спосіб його мислення тощо. Перехід від глобалізованої історії до індивідуалізованих історій відбувся у 70-ті роки минулого століття. В історії українського мовознавства цей перехід розпочався, але не завершився і не сформував комплексного лінгвістичного мі- кроісторичного напряму. Історія з погляду ‘малої’ людини стає засадничим принципом побудови нової історії з другої половини ХХ ст. Процес зміни історичної дослідницької методології окреслює П. Берк як зміну кута зору з ‘погляду згори’ на ‘погляд знизу’ через призму малої історії малої людини. Годі собі уявити в СРСР ‘меншу’ людину, ніж людина, маркована тавром ‘неблагонадійності’. Мар’ян Демський, народжений на бунтівній периферії колишньої польської, а потім радянської держави, у ‘підозрілій’ далеко не бідній українсько-німецькій родині, що мала зв’язки з рухом опору, відрахований з останнього курсу університету з присудом ‘неблагонадійний’, шельмований на партійних зборах, під постійною загрозою звільнення з роботи, блокування науко- вої кар’єри etc., чи не найкращий приклад тої ‘малої’ людини в мовознавчій науці, яка всупереч усьому зуміла створити унікальний науковий портрет української фразеології. Фразеологія для Мар’яна Демського є вибір з обставин. Безпосередніми чинниками вибору фразеології були новизна напряму фразеології і вплив Івана Франка. Примітною рисою фразеологічних поглядів Мар’яна Демського є її синтетичність, що зумовлено впливом його вчителів Юліана Редька та Івана Ковалика. Пропозиція застосування мікроісторичного методу до вивчення персоніфікованої історії того чи того мовознавця уможливить актуалізацію бага- тьох подій, людей і текстів, що перебували поза генералізованою історією мовознавства. Abstract. The history of the Ukrainian linguistics focuses on the investigation the origin and development of linguistic thought from the oldest times to the present days, and the linguistic theories, directions, trends, schools are in the focus of the research. The author is out of the main interest of the historical studies. The generalised linguistic history dominates over the personal individual histories of the scientists. The transition from the globalized to the individualized history took place in the 1970s. In the history of Ukrainian linguistics this transition began, but did not end and did not form a linguistic microhistorical direction yet. The history that focuses on small units of research, such as an event, community, individual or a settlement becomes a fundamental principle of building a new history from the second half of the twentieth century. The ‘small’ person transforms into the source of the history, and it is difficult to imagine the more ‘small’ person than a person marked with the brand of ‘unreliability’. Marian Demsky was born between the First and Second World Wars in the Ukrainian-German family which had the relation with the resistance movement, expelled from the last year of the university, scolded at the party meetings, under the constant threat of the dismissal, with blocking of the scientific career etc. Perhaps this is the best composition of the ‘small’ person in linguistics, who, despite everything, had created the unique scientific portrait of the Ukrainian phraseology. Marian Demsky had chosen the phraseological studies under the circumstances. Primarily he wanted to ivestigate the history of the Ukrainian literature. But it is impossible in the USSR when you are out of the system. That is why he had become the phraseologist. The innovation character of this linguistic direction and Ivan Franco’s biography had the great influence on this choice. A notable feature of Marian Demsky’s phraseological views is its synthetic nature, due to the influence of his teachers Yulian Redko and Ivan Kovalyk, and colleagues. In general the applying of the microhistorical method to the study of the history of linguistics will make it possible to actualize many events, people and texts that were outside the generalized history of linguistics, and to create our own linguistic historiographical culture.
