Ґендерні аспекти роману Л. Костенко "Записки українського самашедшого"

Abstract

Анотація. Стаття присвячена розгляду ґендерних аспектів роману Л. Костенко. Увагу приділено особистій сю- жетній лінії головного персонажа, що органічно вплітається в його роздуми над розвитком української нації та ви- світлює духовний стан сучасного йому соціуму. Через стосунки протагоніста і його дружини розкрито також ґендерні моделі, що склалися на початку ХХІ ст. Метою статті є висвітлення ґендерних аспектів роману Л. Костенко «Записки українського самашедшого» в кон- тексті огляду головним персонажем соціально-історичного й культурного буття його нації. Реалізація поставленої мети передбачала виконання таких завдань: розглянути типові ґендерні моделі, що скла- лися українському соціумі початку ХХІ ст., крізь призму авторського світогляду; висвітлити філософський аспект ви- значення маскулінного та фемінного в романі; визначити шляхи подолання кризи ґендерних стосунків, запропонова- них письменницею, на прикладі родини головного персонажа її роману «Записки українського самашедшого». Визначено, що твір Л. Костенко став квінтесенцією феміністичних роздумів письменниці. Крізь призму бачення персонажа-чоловіка вона розкриває різні аспекти ґендерних стосунків у сучасному суспільстві, визначає об’єктивні й суб’єктивні причини зародження феміністичного руху тощо. Її протагоніст намагається вирішити свої особисті про- блеми у родині, а завдяки цьому – отримати додаткові стимули для подолання соціальних і політичних негараздів. Зроблено висновки, що конкретна життєва ситуація переростає в романі Л. Костенко в загальнофілософські та культурологічні міркування із приводу місця справжнього кохання в житті людини, причин виникнення феміністично- го руху тощо. Навіть із чоловічого погляду авторка виділяє позитивні аспекти фемінізму, вважаючи його органічною потребою сучасного соціуму, в якому відбулася деструкція традиційних ґендерних ролей. Водночас досягнення гармо- нії як у родині, так і в країні в цілому можливе лише через повернення до споконвічних морально-етичних цінностей: любові, віри, взаємодопомоги, щирого діалогу, вірності тощо. Abstract. The article is devoted to the review of gender aspects of L. Kostenko’s novel. Attention is paid to the personal plot line of the main character, which is organically intertwined with his reflections on the development of the Ukrainian nation and сovers the spiritual state of modern society. Through the relationship between the protagonist and his wife there are also revealed the gender models that emerged at the beginning of the XXI century. The aim of the article is to disclose the gender aspects of L. Kostenko’s novel «Notes of a Ukrainian Madman» in the context of the the main character’s review of the socio-historical and cultural life of his nation. Realization of the set purpose assumed the fulfillment of such tasks: to consider the typical gender models which have developed in the Ukrainian society of the beginning of the XXIth century through a prism of author’s world outlook; to cover the philosophical aspect of the definition of masculine and feminine in the novel; to identify ways to overcome the crisis of gender relations proposed by the writer, on the example of the family of the main character of L. Kostenko’s novel «Notes of a Ukrainian Madman». It is determined that L. Kostenko’s work became the quintessence of the writer’s feminist thoughts. Through the prism of the vision of a male character, she reveals various aspects of gender relations in modern society, determines the objective and subjective reasons for the emergence of the feminist movement, and so on. Her protagonist tries to solve his personal problems in the family, and thanks to this – to get additional incentives to overcome social and political troubles. It is concluded that a concrete life situation grows in Kostenko’s novel into general philosophical and culturological reflections about the place of true love in human life, the reasons for the emergence of the feminist movement and so on. Even from a male point of view, the author covers the positive aspects of feminism, considering it an organic need of modern society, in which the destruction of traditional gender roles has taken place. At the same time, achieving harmony both in the family and in the country as a whole is possible only through a returning to the original moral and ethical values: love, faith, mutual assistance, sincere dialogue, loyalty, etc. Keywords: gender models, feminine, masculine, feminist movement, spiritual values.
