Мотиваційний компонент психологічної готовності правоохоронців до екстремальної діяльності

Abstract

Представлено результати вивчення почуття обов’язку у правоохоронців Національної гвардії України. Визначено, що домінуючими мотиваторами до професійної діяльності правоохоронців виступають матеріальні мотиви в поєднанні із соціальними – прагненням почувати свою значимість і суспільну корисність. Доведено, що високий рівень інтернальності у сфері досягнень, притаманний правоохоронцям строкової служби та офіцерам, відрізняє їх схильністю пояснювати причини своїх дій та поведінки внутрішніми чинниками, відповідальністю за власне життя, меншою тривожністю, здатністю “боротися та перемагати”. The sense of duty is a moral component of the will, which is nonspecific in relation to different volitional qualities, it is based on an awareness of the social significance of the activity performed, characterized by the ability to rise above the problematic situation (and above its selfish needs, which it frustrates) the expediency of actions to achieve its goals, personal responsibility for its result. The sense of duty provides for the internalization of the demands of society and a priority over its own (selfish) needs. The sense of duty provides incentives for the activity, even if its fulfillment contradicts personal (selfish) needs (including the need for security) of representatives of risky professions. Although the sense of duty is able to maintain effective activity in difficult (stressful conditions, situations with a high degree of risk, uncertainty) conditions for its implementation, when a person does not develop sense regulation of life activity, it ceases to be an effective motivator even for the performance of the task under normal conditions. Accordingly, the program of professional psychological preparation for activities should include the development of semantic regulation of activity, awareness of the social role of representatives of the chosen professional activity, professional duty, personal responsibility. The study of the manifestation of a sense of duty among the law enforcement officers of the National Guard of Ukraine allowed to determine the following: the dominant motivators for the professional activities of law enforcement officers are material motives in combination with social ones - the desire to feel its importance and social utility; the high level of internality in the field of accomplishments inherent in conscripts and officers, is characterized by their inclination to explain the reasons for their actions and behavior by internal factors, responsibility for their own lives, less anxiety, the ability to “fight and win”.
