Концептуальні основи «нової східної політики» канцлера Г. Шредера

Abstract

У статті досліджено історичні передумови формування зовнішньополітичних принципів політики канцлера Німеччини Г. Шредера, розглянуто і проаналізовано концептуальні засади «нової східної політики». Наявний матеріал дозволяє стверджувати, що східний напрям зовнішньої політики не мав першорядного значення для змісту зовнішньої політики федерального канцлера: проведений аналіз демонструє, що інтереси Німеччини в східноєвропейському регіоні не обмежувалися лише співпрацею з Росією у сфері безпеки. Г. Шредер у зовнішній політиці розглядав партнерство із Росією як вигідний економічний напрям. У той самий час Німеччина продовжувала підтримувати європейські прагнення Польщі, Чехії, Угорщини, Словаччини, Латвії, Литви та Естонії.
