Російсько-грузинська війна 2008 року як наслідок політики Росії на пострадянському просторі

Abstract

У статті розглянуто події війни між Російською Федерацією та Грузією в 2008 році та фактори, які привели до розгортання конфлікту. З розпадом СРСР колишні республіки Союзу отримали незалежність у формі національних унітарних держав і були змушені вирішувати етнічні та політичні проблеми всередині своїх кордонів. Проблема етнічної напруженості в Кавказькому регіоні, в нашому випадку в Грузії, була нанизана на сучасну зовнішню політику Росії, яка захищає свої інтереси у всіх регіонах, що межують з її кордонами, часто використовуючи досить агресивні методи, в тому числі і військові вторгнення на території інших держав. Поєднання цих факторів у 2008 році дало один із найбільш шокуючих і трагічних для світової спільноти епізод історії – 5-денну війну між Грузією і Росією. This article examines the events of the war between the Russian Federation and Georgia in 2008 and the factors that led to the development of the conflict. With the collapse of the USSR, the former republics of the Union gained independence in the form of unitary nation states and were forced to solve ethnic and political problems within their borders, which in the Soviet period did not have the opportunity to manifest themselves as we see them now among our close and distant neighbors. The problem of ethnic tensions in the Caucasus region, in our case in Georgia, has been strung on Russia's current foreign policy, which defends its interests in all regions close to its borders, often using quite aggressive methods, including military. The combination of these factors in 2008 gave us one of the most shocking and tragic episodes of history in the form of a 5-day war between Georgia and Russia.
