| Abstract: | Using classical methods of physico-chemical analysis, the phase diagrams of the quasibinary systems KBr(I)-TeBr4(I4) have been improved. The homogeneity areas of the compounds K2TeBr6 and K2Tel6 have been investigated for the first time. Large single crystals of K2TeBr6 and K2Tel6, have been grown. The crystals structures of the title compounds have been refined using X-ray powder dif- fraction technique. Detailed thermogravimetric studies of K2TeBr6 and K2Tel6 have been carried out. |
