| Abstract: | The problems of the implementation of collectivization in the Transcarpathian oblast’ at the end of the 1940’s and the directing of youth to study in other areas of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic are examined in the article. Facts of the forced resettlement of adolescent boys and girls apart from their parents are presented. By this the authorities attempted to resolve two problems: resettle the region and deal with those in disagreement to collectivization. |
