| Abstract: | A new diclofenac-selective electrode based on an ion associate of diclofenac with a basic dye Neutral red as a membrane carrier was developed. The electrode exhibits a good Nernstian slope of 44.0±1.0 mV decade-1 and a linear range of 5.0×10-5 to 5.0×10-2 M for diclofenac. The detection limit was 4.0×10-5 M. This membrane electrode was successfully tested in for the determination of diclofenac in pharmaceuticals and urine samples. |
