| Abstract: | The crystal structure of Hg3Te2I2 has been studied by X-ray diffraction method on diffractometer DARTCH-1. The structure is monoclinic (space group Cc, a=14,276(3), b=9,722(3), c=14,382(3) A, B=100,11(2) °). The main elements of structure are “umbrellas” [TeHg3] which don’t form endless chains or carcass like other corderoite-like compounds. |
