dc.description.abstractObjective: To map the psychosomatic burden of nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic at selected clinical sites File and methodology: Data collection took place between February and April 2021 at nurses from selected hospitals in Slovakia, in the form of a quantitative survey, using the method of an anonymous questionnaire of their own design. A total of 93 respondents represented the returned questionnaires Results: Of the respondents, up to 87.50% at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, experienced some of the psychosomatic symptoms. There was a statistically significant positive relationship between sleep problems, impaired concentration, fatigue and exhaustion as a psychosomatic symptom. Conclusion: It is very important to ensure the provision of psychological support in the workplace, which can offer cognitive-behavioral therapy focused on trauma (death in the workplace, overcoming the severe course of COVID-19.), which has proven to be useful in previous epidemicsuk
