Заголовок у романах Володимира Лиса – ядро художнього полотна

Abstract

Анотація. Статтю присвячено дослідженню поетики заголовків художніх творів Володимира Лиса «Століття Якова», «Соло для Соломії», «Країна гіркої ніжності», «Острів Сильвестра», «Графиня», «І прибуде суддя», «В’язні зеленої дачі», «Діва Млинища», «Обітниця», «Стара холера». Актуальність нашого дослідження зумовлена тим, що в сучасному мовознавстві ще недостатньо вивчено функ- ціонально-стилістичні можливості заголовків художніх прозових текстів відомих авторів. Тому, на наше переконання, вивчення власної назви – заголовка твору – потребує особливої уваги, а ґрунтовний аналіз заголовних лексем романів В. Лиса відкриває можливості для подальших узагальнень у царині відповідної лінгвостилістичної проблематики. Наша мета – дослідження заголовка як «першого ключового знака», як «основної власної назви в художньому творі» на матеріалі романів В. Лиса. Наше завдання – дослідити семантико-стилістичну роль заголовків, визначити їхні функції в розкритті змісту творів. З’ясовано, що заголовок у творах В. Лиса акумулює розгортання сюжету разом з усіма літературними героями. Він нерозривно пов’язаний із художнім задумом автора. Досліджено семантико-стилістичну роль заголовків, визначе- но їхні функції (номінативну, інформативну, експресивно-апелятивну, рекламну т. ін.) в розкритті змісту творів. Уста- новлено, що між заголовком і текстом є тісний зв’язок, який проявляється на логічному, структурно-композиційному та стилістичному рівнях. Доведено, що заголовок – найголовніша власна назва твору, найважливіший «вузловий елемент змісту», «центр ономастичного простору твору». Досліджено характеристичний потенціал заголовків. Зосереджено увагу на особли- вості заголовків, де фігурують літературно-художні антропоніми – назви головних героїв. Такі заголовки виконують особливу роль – вони є знаками авторського виділення. Дослідження назв романів В. Лиса дозволило дійти висновку про те, що у заголовках – кодування авторського задуму. У них сконцентровані різні конотації, вони розкривають тему та ідею твору, формують характери, впливають на читача, спонукають до прочитання та узагальнень. Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the title poetics in the fiction by Volodymyr Lys – “Jacob’s Century”, “Solo for Solomiya”, “Country of Bitter Tenderness”, “Sylvester’s Island”, “Countess”, “And Judge Will Come”, “Prisoners of the Green Cottage”, “Virgin of the Mill”, “Promise”, “Old Cholera”. The relevance of our study is due to the fact that in modern linguistics the potential of the titles of the texts of fiction of famous authors is still studied insufficiently. Therefore, in our opinion, the study of its own title – the title of the work – requires special attention, and a thorough analysis of the title’s lexemes of V. Lys’s novels opens opportunities for further generalizations in the field of relevant linguistic and stylistic issues. Our goal is to study the title as the “first key sign”, as “the main proper name in the work of art” on the material of V. Lys’s novels. Our task is to research the semantic and stylistic role of the titles, to determine their functions in revealing the content of works. It was found that the title in the works of V. Lys accumulates the development of the plot together with all the literary characters. It is inextricably linked to the author’s artistic intent. The semantic and stylistic role of titles is researched, their functions (nominative, informative, expressive-appellative, advertising, etc.) in revealing the content of works are determined. It is found that there is a close connection between the title and the text, which is manifested on the logical, structuralcompositional and stylistic levels. It is proved that the title is the most important proper name of the work, the most important “nodal element of the content”, “the center of the onomastic space of the work”. The characteristic potential of headings is investigated. Attention is focused on the features of the titles, which contain proper names of the literary heroes – the names of the main characters. Such titles play a special role – they are signs of the author’s selection. A study of the titles of V. Lys’s novels allowed us to conclude that the titles encode the author’s intention. Different connotations are concentrated in them, they reveal the theme and idea of the work, form characters, influence the reader, encourage reading and generalizations.
