Онімна спадщина в лексикографічних джерелах української мови ХІV–ХVІІІ ст.

Abstract

Анотація. У статті звернено увагу на онімний матеріал, уміщений у трьох історичних словниках та картотеках – «Історичного словника українського язика» за ред. Є. Тимченка, «Словника староукраїнської мови ХІV–ХV ст.», «Словника української мови ХVІ – першої половини ХVІІ ст.». Названо українські писемні пам’ятки ХІV–ХVІІІ ст., які фіксують передовсім антропонімну лексику, вказано також на деякі особливості лексичної картотеки «Історичного словника українського язика» за ред. Є. Тимченка. Окрім того, наголошено на різножанрову специфіку писемних дже- рел ХVІ – першої половини ХVІІ ст.; підкреслено, що яскраву палітру особових власних імен демонструють пам’ятки ділового стилю ХІV–ХVІІІ ст. У розвідці використано традиційну класифікацію особових найменувань (одночленні, двочленні, багаточленні). У деяких писемних джерелах при найменуванні осіб фіксуємо супроводжувальні апелятиви панъ, пани. Деякі оніми демонструють високу словотворчу активність, збагачуючи таким способом словотвірну систему української мови. У текстах досліджуваного періоду спорадично фіксуємо народнорозмовні варіанти особових християнських імен чоловіків та жінок. Серед двочленних власних назв осіб відапелятивного походження домінують: назви осіб за родом діяльності та професією; назви осіб за територіальною і національною ознаками; назви осіб за соціальним та майновим станом, суспільно-політичним становищем; назви осіб за сімейними і родинними стосунками, свояцтвом; назви осіб за зо- внішніми ознаками та внутрішніми властивостями; назви, пов’язані з реаліями навколишнього середовища; назви, пов’язані зі сферою побуту людини тощо. Найбільшою пам’яткою ХVІІ ст., де вміщені власні особові назви, є «Реєстр Війська Запорозького» 1649 р. (по- над 40000 назв осіб). До реєстрової частини «Словника української мови ХVІ – першої половини ХVІІ ст.» залучено, на жаль, лише особові назви відапелятивного походження, які значно доповнюють тогочасну мовну мозаїку рідкісни- ми словами та діалектизмами. Abstract. The article draws attention to the material of onyms contained in three historical dictionaries and card indexes - “Mapping of the Historical Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language”, edited by Ye. Tymchenko, “Dictionary of the Old Ukrainian language of the 14th‒15th centuries”, “Dictionary of the Ukrainian language of the 16th ‒ first half of the 17th century”. The Ukrainian written monuments of the 14th‒18th centuries, which record first of all the anthroponymic vocabulary, are named as well as some features of the lexical card index of the “Mapping of the Historical Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language”, edited Ye. Tymchenko are pointed. Besides, emphasis is placed on the specifics of different genres of written sources of the 16th ‒ first half of the 17th century. It is emphasized that the bright palette of personal proper names is demonstrated by the monuments of business style of the 14th ‒18th centuries. The article uses a traditional classification of proper names (single, double, polynomial). In some written sources, when naming persons, we record the accompanying appeals of pan’, pani. Some of the onyms show high word-forming activity, thus enriching the word-forming system of the Ukrainian language. In the texts of the studied period, we sporadically record vernacular variants of personal Christian names of men and women. Among the two-member proper names of persons of appellate origin, the following dominate: names of persons by type of activity and profession; names of persons on territorial and national grounds; names of persons by social and property status, socio-political status; names of persons by family and kinship relations, affinity; names of persons by external features and internal qualities; names related to the realities of the environment; names related to the sphere of human life, etc. The largest monument of the 17th century, which contains its own proper names, is the “Register of the Zaporozhian Army” of 1649 (over 40,000 names of persons). Unfortunately, to the register part of “Dictionary of the Ukrainian language of the 16th ‒ first half of the 17th century” are included only names of appellate origin, which significantly complement the temporary linguistic mosaic with rare words and dialectisms.
