Мікротопоніми на інтерактивних мапах: спроба презентації

Abstract

Анотація. Однією з ключових компетентностей людства є цифрова, тобто вміння використовувати технології для навчання, творчости, соціальної діяльности. Мікротопоніміка – наука, що поєднує в собі різночасові елементи, тому сучасний мікротопонімний ландшафт доцільно презентувати, застосовуючи цифрові ресурси. Мікротопоніми та мапи взаємопов’язані, адже локальні назви віддавна позначали на картосхемах, картах, пла- нуваннях різноманітних територій. Сьогодні виникла у створенні інтерактивних вебмап. З’ясовано, що такі мапи слу- гують не тільки як відображення картографічної інформації, але і як джерело різноманітних додаткових відомостей. Вони є гнучкими, дистанційними, багатофункціональними, широкомасштабними. Існує чимало можливостей створю- вати інтерактивні мапи, зокрема Google Maps, Bing Maps, OpenStreetMap. Мета статті – продемонструвати елементи відображення мікротопонімів на інтерактивних мапах, зокрема на Google-картах. Завдання: з’ясувати поняття «інтерактивна мапа»; обумовити переваги таких карт; вказати алгоритм формуван- ня карти; презентувати фрагмент створеної мапи; окреслити перспективи онлайн-картографування. У статті протлумачено, що на інтерактивних мапах можна продемонструвати мікротопонімікон одного насе- леного пункту з чіткою локалізацією, поділом на тематичні та семантичні групи, із виділенням у їхніх межах струк- турно-словотвірних типів тощо. Також репрезентовано можливість формування ареалів мікротопонімів. Як приклад продемонстровано географічні локальні назви з апелятивом кичера, що поширений на території Карпат, зокрема Ско- лівського району. Представлено дефініцію «інтерактивної карти» як сучасного засобу та способу формування просторового ін- телекту. Необхідно грамотно користуватися і традиційними паперовими картами, й інноваційними електронними. Створення інтерактивних карт залучатиме дедалі більше зацікавлених українським словом, культурою, національною пам’яттю. Закцентовано на тому, що мітка карті виконує роль важливого індикатора національно-культурного обширу. Ключові слова: мікротопонім, карта, презентація, цифрова компетентність, ареал, локація.

Abstract. One of the key competencies of mankind is digital competence, i.e. the perfect ability to use technology for learning, creativity and social activities. Microtoponymy is a science that combines elements of different time periods, therefore, it is advisable to present modern microtoponymic landscape using digital resources. It is known that microtoponyms have long been marked on schemes, maps, plans of various territories. We have many historical sources presenting maps with local geographical locations. However, nowadays people spend a lot of time on the Internet, so creation of interactive web-maps is of particular importance. Such maps serve not only as a display of cartographic information, but also as a source of various information related to a particular area. There are many opportunities to create interactive maps, including Google Maps, Bing Maps, OpenStreetMap. The goal of the article is to demonstrate the elements of displaying microtoponyms on interactive maps, in particular on Google maps. The tasks include: defining the concept of «interactive map»; determining advantages of such maps; specification of the algorithm of map formation; presenting a fragment of the created map; outlining the prospects of online mapping. Interactive maps can demonstrate microtoponymicon of one settlement with a clear localization, division into thematic and semantic groups, identification within their boundaries structural and word-forming types, etc. Interactive maps contribute to the formation of areas. For example, the article in question demonstrates the area of microtoponyms with the appellative based on the stem кичера, which is common in the Carpathians (in particular, Skole district). Thus, an interactive map is a modern means of forming spatial intelligence. This way of designating the names of geographical local names is promising because it is information-intensive, accessible, large-scale and flexible. To ensure harmonious perception of the environment, it is necessary to be able to use both traditional paper maps and innovative electronic ones. But, most importantly, we should not forget that each mark on such a map is an important indicator of national and cultural space.
