| Abstract: | The author of the article emphasizes the importance of one of the ways of scientific cognition – historiographic one. As the example, the periodization of Slovakian ethnology is suggested. At the same time it is compared to the history of the Ukrainian science. Significant theoretic and methodological differences are stressed. The question about the prospects of the development of the disciplines in both countries is stated. |
