Abstract:	The article deals with the problem of the Slavs settling of the Tisa-Danube basin in Czech and Slovak history. In the middle of the І millenium A.D. the slavs settled the Central and South Europe. The process of the penetration of the slavs into Carpathian basin attracted the vigilant attention of the specialists. They worked out some thoughts and conceptions on this problem. The analysis of the literature testifed that the Slavs have settled the Carpathian region from ІІ to VІІІ – ІX centuries A.D.
