Трудова міграція мешканців західноукраїнських сіл до Львова в 1950–1980-х рр.

Abstract

In connection with the development of industrial enterprises in Lviv and dissatisfaction with the living conditions in villages, low wages in agriculture rural inhabitants of western Ukrainian villages were intensively moving to Lviv during 1950– 1980 th. At the beginning of 1950 th there were too difficult to find a good job; then during the next decades people didn’t have problems with jobplacement. There were a lot of industrial enterprises in Lviv, different institutions, building and other organizations which required new employees and promoted migration. A large part of people from Lviv region mainly from suburban villages had to commute to work.
