| Abstract: | The historical circumstances, which stipulated creation of NATO are opened up in the article. Author on the basis of analysis of the archived and literary sources, did an attempt objectively to light up maintenance of major strategic projects in relation to activity of NATO during all continuation of "cold war". In the basis of NATO strategy, allowedly, opposing with forces of communist aggression, Warsaw Agreement Organization, overcoming of global, regional political, military conflicts and creation of the reliable system of international safety lay . |
