Досвід набуття членства в НАТО країнами Центрально–Східної Європи та євроатлантичні перспективи України

Abstract

The euroatlantic prospects of Ukraine and their alternatives are examined in the article taking into account the experience of entry to NATO of the Central and East European countries during the first and the second waves of expansion. The aspects of the development of military – industrial complex, financial – economic aspects, contractual – legal framework of the collaboration of Ukraine and NATO are analyzed. The questions of the dependence of results of euroatlantic integration of Ukraine from the domestic policy, public opinion and possible referendum in relation to NATO membership are also discussed.
