| Abstract: | The article examines life and spiritual development of the Greek-Catholic priest F. S. Zheltvay. In 1925—48 he served at the Saint Archangel church in Teresva village. In 1950 he was convicted for 25 years of prison for the rejection to tom into Ortodox church. In 1950-51 he served a sentence in one of the GULAG prison camps near the city of Karaganda (Kazakhstan). He died in 1951 at the age of 66 after 41 years of his religious explorations. In November 1992 he was legally rehabilitated. In Teresva village local Greek-Catholic community by its own cost built a church. It was blessed in July 2004 and its new priest is Rev. Josif Veresh. |
