Загострення внутрішніх протиріч у чеському королівстві після смерті Їржі з Подебрад

Abstract

The Czech Kingdom in the period of the Jahellons ruling (1471-1526) is traditionally referred to the history of the Middle Ages. The question of the new king's election arose after the death of Jirzhy of Poděbrad. The main rulers of the Central Europe such as Matyash Korvin, the Hungarian king, Albrecht, the Saxon warror, Kazymyr IV, the Polish king and his san Vladyslav II Jahellon expressed their interest in the ruling of the Czech Kingdom. In 1471 the Czech Kingdom was in a complicated and tense condition of the domestik policy. The czech nobles wished to have free elections of the new king who would be more practical and could pravide their interestst and confirm their privileges. After the peacemaking congresses which were held in the countries of Cadan, Prague and the German Brod the all sides managed to reach an agreement and appointed the electoral congress in May 18,1471, in the town of Kuma Hora.
