Передумови та початок діяльності двосторонніх міждержавних українсько–словацької та українсько–угорської комісій з питань національних меншин, освіти і культури в першій половині 90-х років ХХ ст.

Abstract

The paper deals with the activity of the intergovernmental Ukrainian and Slovak and Ukrainian and Hungáriám Commisions on the problems of the national minorities, education and culture. It has been indicated on the basis of the new archaive documents that it was the Ukrainian side who had initiated the creation of that mixed intergovernmental structure. The discussed problems considered at the first sittings of the Commissions have been characterised.
