Abstract

During development of ethnologic researches on Transcarpatina a noticeable role was played by Scientific bulletin of the organization «Prosvitá» in Uzhgorod. There was published a bulletin detailed articles on the questions of song folk-lore of Transcarpathia by Filaret Kolessa, ethno-linguistics of the region by Ivan Pan'kevych, preservation of historical, cultural and ethnographical monuments by Volodymyr Zalozetskyj. The oldest in the territory of Transcarpathia and Pryashivschina wooden church in the Trochany village was described by Volodymyr Sichynskyj. The noteworthy scientific article about the folk belief about the human spirit was published in bulleten by a young transcarpathian ethnographer Fedor Potushnyak, retold legend about selling ones soul to the devil - by Mychajlo Voznyak. The spreading of ballade about kozak and Kulyna over Transcarpathia during 17th century was described by Julian Javorskij. The articles by Filaret Kolessa are worthy contribution in research of musical dialects, determination of east border of Lemkivschina, orthogenesis and ethnic history of Ukrainians of Transcarpathia. In researches by I. Pan'kevych the influence of ethnic, natural and socio-economic factors he traced the creation of cultural features of different districts of the region.
