| Abstract: | In the article the process of the appearance of historical science in Transcarpathia is investigated and it is proved that I. Bazilovich is the founder of the science. The author characterizes his work " A Short sketch on fundation of Fedor Koriatovich ", which was edited in two books in 1799-1805. He makes a detailed analysis of the historical concept of I. Bazilovich, in particular, his opinion as to ethnic belonging of Rusines of Transcarpathia, their autohtonic origin, and contribution to the development of education and science of the region. |
