| Abstract: | In the article on the basis of new historiographic data new evaluation of the stages of the creation of Ukrainian nationality from the middle of XYII to the end of XYIII cent, is made. In particular new interpretation is given to the decision of the Pereyaslav Rada, true meaning is revealed of the measures undertaken by the Tsar government with the aime of the discrimination of autonomous rights of Ukraine. The process of liquidation of the Ukrainian nationality by tsarism in the end of XVIII cent, is shown. |
