| Abstract: | The authors of the article are the first Ukrainian investigators who made the attempt to give proper evaluation of historical inheritance of one of the little known representatives of Transcarpathian historiographers of the XIX cent. Karoly Meszaros. They stress, that Hungarian scientist has managed to note and to investigate the problems of historical development of Transcarpathia. He edited two valuable scientific works, which have been written on the broad basis of sources. |
