Албанский вопрос в международных отношениях 1913–1916 гг.

Abstract

The Albanian question for the first time had appeared on the international scene during the annexation crisis of 1908-1909. This successful liberation movement was brought to national awareness during World War I. Independence of Albania was proclaimed on November 28th, 1912 in Valona. Occurrence of the new state on the Balkans has created a lot of territorial and political problems. The most difficult problem for Albania was to achieve the international recognition of its sovereignty and borders, considering counteraction of the next states. Attempts of great powers between 1913-1916 to solve a problem of territorial differentiation in Albania, establishments political and administration managerial control, have set an example a relativity of application to the Balkans, the international principles, and the legal norms which are not considering local specificity of region. This interlacing hopes the Albanian national-liberation mo vements, geopolitics calculations of the Balkan countries, and direct intervention of great powers which trying to settle the Albanian problem, not especially reckoned with original interests of the Balkan states and promoted transformation of Albania into the long-term center of an international tension.
