| Abstract: | In this article the author argues that there were no canonical relationships between Mukachevo Eparchy and the structures of Kiev metropolis during defined chronological limits. Existed personal relations were not sufficient to prove the thesis, widely known in Ukrainian church historiography, about affiliation of Mukachevo Eparchy with jurisdiction of Kiev metropolis. The attempt to affiliate it with the archblshop of Kiev Uniat Church in 1660s failed in the Holy Capital. |
