Abstract:	The aim of this study was to assess thyroid disorders in different biogeochemistry regions of Transcarpathia. Different incidence of goiter, thyrotocsicosis, thyroiditis and hypothyroidism has been found in children. It turned out that during 1997-1998 the three first pathologies increased in number and hypothyroidism decreased in mountainous region, which was badly provided with iodine, Thus, we demonstrated a high potential for preventing and treating endemic disorders of thyroid gland.
