Проблеми пенітенціарної політики України на сучасному етапі

Abstract

The author of the article considers the problems of penitentiary policy of Ukraine on the contemporary stage. She states, that the reform of activity of penitentiary institutions according to the international norms of execution of criminal punishment needs considerable mastering of the level of professional training of specialists, the majority of which realise their activity in the systern “person—person”. That is why the author of the article insists on the idea, that every worker of institutions of punishment execution despite the position held has to possess knowledge of pedagogical appropriateness, principles and methods of influence on the prisoners; has to know their age, individual and typological peculiarities, characteristic displays in the environment of criminals; has to know how to make use the effective means of pedagogical influence; to analyse creatively own activity etc.
