Релігійні організації та види фінансування релігійних організацій

Abstract

Релігійні організації та церкви протягом десятиліть були невід’ємною частиною жити країн Європи та Америки. Вони мали вагомий вплив на суспільно – політичне життя країни, міжнародні відносини та виступали арбітром у вирішенні багатьох проблем. Італія (католицизм), Греція (православ’я), Великобританія (англіканська церква) та інші країни, надавали релігійним організаціям та церквам великого впливу та значення. Не виключенням стали і події, на Американському континенті, де протестантизм став сильною суспільною інсти¬туцією з потужним впливом на суспільно – політичне життя країни. Вплив церкви та релігійних організацій загалом протягом багатьох років є важливим в США. Релігійні організації мають вагому роль в суспільно-політичних про¬цесах в країні. В США згідно Першої поправки до Конституції модель відокремлення держави і церкви. Але релі¬гійні інституції в країн є впливовими. Держава не фінансує релігійні організації в США. В США релігійні організації та церкви мають безподатковий статус. ХХ – ХХІ ст. показало, що актуальність впливу релігійних організацій в країнах Європи та США є вагомим. В статті проаналізовано дефініцію поняття «релігійні організації» та види фінансування релігійних організацій та церков. Охарактеризовано фінансування церков та релігійних організацій загалом в США та країнах Європи. Проаналізовано фінансування релігійних організацій в Україні. Охарактеризовано особливості діяльності релігій¬них організацій в Україні. Згідно статистичних даних станом на 2021 рік в Україні налічувалося 37049 релігійних організацій. Досліджено фінансування релігійних організацій та церкви в країнах світу. Особливості фінансування релігійних організацій аналізується науковцями протягом тривалого часу. Виокремлюють наступні види фінансування релігійних організацій та церков: пряме фінансування, збір спеціаль¬ного «церковного податку» (який витрачається згідно з побажаннями платників податку), «церковний податок» (надходить у розпорядження керівництва певних релігійних течій) та конфесії, які не отримують фінансування чи допомоги і існують виключно за рахунок пожертв та ін.

Religious organizations and churches have been an integral part of European and American life for decades. They had a significant impact on the socio – political life of the country, international relations and acted as an arbiter in solving many problems. Italy (Catholicism), Greece (Orthodoxy), Great Britain (Anglican Church) and other countries have given great influence and importance to religious organizations and churches. The events on the American continent were no exception, where Protestantism became a strong social institution with a powerful influence on the socio – political life of the country. The influence of the church and religious organizations in general has been important in the United States for decades. Religious organizations have an important role in sociopolitical processes in the country. In the United States, according to the First Amendment to the Constitution, the model of separation of state and church. But religious institutions in countries are influential. The state does not fund religious organizations in the United States. In the United States, religious organizations and churches have tax-free status. XX – XXI centuries showed that the relevance of the influence of religious organizations in Europe and the United States is significant. The definition of "religious organizations" and types of funding for religious organizations and churches are analyzed in the article. The financing of churches and religious organizations in general in the USA and European countries is described. The financing of religious organizations in Ukraine is analyzed. According to statistics, there were 37,049 religious organizations in Ukraine in 2021. The financing of religious organizations and churches in the countries of the world is studied. Features of funding for religious organizations have been analyzed by scholars for a long time. There are the following types of funding for religious organizations and churches: direct funding, collection of a special "church tax" (which is spent according to the wishes of taxpayers), "church tax" (available to the leadership of certain religious movements) and denominations that do not receive funding or assistance and exist solely through donations, etc.
