Abstract:	The results of treatment of 175 patients with а sharp bleeding from varicose veins of а gullet and а stomach are analyzed at liver cirrhosis, taking рІасе in branch of transplantation and surgery of а liver for the period with 1997 оn 2002. 135 patient from 175 who arrived to clinic with sharp bleeding from varicose veins of gullet in case of liver cirrhosis were carried out urgent conservative therapy. The mortality rate in this group of patients has made 18,5 % (25 patients). То operations are executed at 40 (22,9 %) patients. The mortality rate in this group of patients was 20 % (8 patients).
