Клініко-прогностичне значення дисбалансу стероїдних гормонів наднирників у хворих із гострими ерозивно-виразковими ураженнями травного каналу при поєднаній травмі

Abstract

Since 1999 till 2002 124 patients with multiple trauma were enrolled in our study. Adrenal steroids (glucocorticoids and androgens) relations were investigated bу liquid chromatography in all traumatized patients. Among them 59 had shown signs of acute erosive­ulcerative lesions of the upper gastrointestinal tract. Steroid metabolites content in daily urine and morphological findings in diges­tive tract of this group were evaluated and compared with а control. It was found that protracted and profound hypoandrogenity strongly conelated with development of "stress" ulcers of the upper digestive tract (mainly duodenum). In that case androgenity in­dex was most prognostically significant.
