| Abstract: | The management and outcome of acute lower extremeties ischemia in consequence of thromboembolic arterial occlusions in 82 patients over а period of 15 years is presented. АІІ patients underwent operative thromboembolectomy. 84% procedures fulfilled bу general surgeons and were successful in 62 patients (77,5%). Mortality rate is 26,8% (22 patients). Progress of basic cardiovascular deasises with developing of multiorganic failure was the main reason of death (40,9%). CONCLUSION: the operative thromboembolectomy is still а good option to revascularize acute ischemic peripheral arteries with good results and can succesfully fulfilled bу general surgeons. |
