Особливості кінного туризму Карпатського регіону (на прикладі Закарпаття)

Abstract

The paper identifies the place and features of equestrian tourism development as a type of active tourism within the Carpathian region, Transcarpathia. The study uses general and special research methods, including methods of observation, comparison, analysis, synthesis and sociological survey. The works of scientists are analyzed, domestic and foreign experience of development and popularization of equestrian tourism in the system of qualification of tourist trips is studied. Aspects of the organization of this type of tourism within the protected areas of Transcarpathia are highlighted. The significance of rural (green) estates for recreational purposes is revealed. An analysis of existing horse farms and their possibility to provide tourist services. We singled out the famous resort of Transcarpathia «Voevodyno» and its high coefficient of tourist attractiveness was determined. A sociological survey was conducted on the basis of which recommendations were developed on the potential opportunities and threats to the development of equestrian tourism in the study area. The SWOT analysis of the development of the Carpathian region made it possible to objectively assess the possibilities of equestrian tourism development and to develop effective measures to prevent and solve the problems.
