| Abstract: | Common lexical composition for Slovak and Ukrainian languages, concurrency (parallelism) of the grammatical system, a similar set of word-forming means – all this creates and impression of easiness when learning a related language. However, this easiness is deceitful, since the peculiarities of internal and external development of the languages, different social conditions of formation of their literary forms, contacts with other language systems lead to specific regularities of each one. The article also considers the demonstrations of the Slovak-Ukrainian interference at all language system levels. |
