Abstract: Depending on the factors associated with the onset and progression of periodontal disease and pathological processes of peri-implant tissues, choose the appropriate study design, and the level of significance results changes will determine the impact of each risk indicator on the inflammatory process. The most critical are the factors that have the most negative impact on periodontal tissues or peri-implant tissues (the highest score on the scale of criteria) and can lead to tooth loss or affect the process of osseointegration of the implant, they can be objectively assessed with the least calculation error. The most important diagnostic signs for predicting the development of chronic generalized periodontitis or inflammatory processes around peri-implant tissues by degree of significance: the presence of periodontopathogenic microflora → unsatisfactory hygiene → the presence of periodontal pockets, more than 5 mm → radiation → general → traumatic → somatic → somatic → drugs. Therefore, using the obtained prognostic coefficients, it is possible to determine the risk of generalized inflammatory lesions of periodontal tissues and peri-implant tissues and to prevent their occurrence individually in each patient.
