| Abstract: | The article deals with the questions of the world-outlook conflict between the studies of Aristotel and Catholic church in the 12 – 13th centuries and how the theologian Thomas Akvinat found out the way out of that situation. The author of the research comes to the conclusion that not only Foma Akvinsky had influenced the Aristotel’s philosophic-political conception adjusting it up for church’s demands but at the same time the Greek’s studies made a great influence upon the theologian and became the basis of his political views. |
