Організаційно–правове забезпечення Україною та Польщею міжетнічних стосунків на державному рівні

Abstract

In his article "The problems of Polish-Ukrainiani interethnic relationships and the ways of their solution on the modern stage" the author examines all the pallet of problems in Polish-Ukrainiani interrelations which accu-mulated during the last centuries. The events of 30s-40s of the XX th century had especially tragic consequences for both peoples. Particularly mass deportation of Polish people from Ukraine in the districts of Kazakhstan and violent migration of ethnic Ukraine, whom were deported nearly 543 thousand persons during 1944-1951. O.Malets examines the problem of scholastic education and its provision with methodological manuals and literature for Ukrainian minorities in Poland and accordingly Polish minorities in Ukraine. So state structures of both countries and the social organizations should join to cooperation to solve all these above mentioned problems and to overcome contradictions in Ukrainiani- Polish interethnic relations and con-troversial moments in history (e.g. "Tragedy in Volyn" during the II nd World War; interrelationships in frontier cooperation). Moreover, in Ukraine as well as in Poland there are lawbased principles of security of the rights of national minorities due to which it is possible to solve all above – mentioned problems.
