Словаччина – етапи становлення та розвитку демократичних процесів

Abstract

To its developed level the democratic system of Slovak Republic went through several stages. These stages we can conventionally name as the following: The first – “preparatory” period, the years 1989-1992, so it means the making of the democratic system bases of Slovak Republic in the frame of the unique Czechslovakian country. The second stage – the period of making and formation of the independent Slovak state system on the national principle under the leadership of the leading national and populistic coalition.(the years 1993-1998)The third – so-called “consolidation” stage of the development of the democratic processes in Slovak Republic which is started from the autumn 1998 – after the victory of the united democratic opposition in the parliamentary elections and lasted till the period of joining the European Union, it means till the May 2004. The fourth – so-called “integrational” stage, which is signified by the development of the Slovak democracy in the frame of the unique association of the developed European democracies – European Union.
