| Abstract: | This article studies ideas of the French philosopher of the XVІІІ century Charles Luis Montesquieu. As one of the main representatives of the geographical theory, the scientist considers the geographical environment as a determinative of occurrence and existence of different forms of the government and the legislation. From geographical conditions he deduces character, morals and customs of people, their economic and political systems. |
