Abstract:	Author of the article characterises main stages of the development of the party structure in the region. Consideralle attention is payed to ar analysis of the parlamentary elections and elections in the bodies of local power in 1994, 1998, 2002. Election to the representative bodies of power had, according to authors point of vien, an important influence on the forming of party space in the region. In the article the arrangement of party-political forces in the region en the eve of the parlamentary electiions 2006 is characterised, and conclusion about electoral potential of the future subjects of an electoralprocess is made.
