Ойконіми на -івк-а ХХ–ХХІ століття, мотивовані назвами рослин

Abstract

Анотація. Актуальність дослідження полягає в недостатньому опрацюванні ойконімів України з формантом -івк-а. Стаття присвячена аналізу назв населених пунктів на -івк-а, що мотивовані назвами рослин. Дослідження фло- ролексем, які лягли в основу ойконімів на -івк-а, дасть змогу поглибити знання у процесах творення онімів цього типу, допоможе краще зрозуміти природні особливості краю. Назви населених пунктів зафіксовані на сторінках таких джерел: «Українська РСР. Адміністративно-територіальний поділ на 1 вересня 1946 р.», «Історія міст і сіл Україн- ської РСР», «Адміністративно-територіальний устрій України за станом на 01.02.2021». Мета дослідження: зібрати ойконіми України на -івк-а, похідні від найменувань рослин, зробити лексико-семантичний аналіз твірних баз. Хоч переважно ойконіми на -івк-а виражають значення належності, а тому утворені від антропонімів, проте ми фіксуємо і відапелятивні утворення. Це пояснюємо двома причинами. По-перше, формант -івк-а, розвинувши свою продуктивність, витворив відапелятивну модель творення. По-друге, численні перейменування населених пунктів на всій території України у XX ст. (наслідок Указу Президії Верховної Ради УРСР (від 7.09.1946 р.) «Про збереження історичних та уточнення і впорядкування існуючих назв сільських рад і населених пунктів») та XXI ст. (дві хвилі пере- йменувань назв населених пунктів). Це спричинило масштабні зміни в ойконімній системі України. Короткі результати і висновки: Зафіксовано 724 ойконіми, твірними базами яких виступають назви рослин. Усі фітолексеми об’єднуємо в такі групи: назви дерев (хвойних, листяних та плодових – 382 ойконіми), кущів та трав’янистих рослин (305 назв населених пунктів), а також назви на позначення сукупностей рослин (19 ойконімів). Деякі з них, як-от калина, береза, верба, малина, дуб тощо, поширені на території всієї України, інші ж (наприклад, черешня, каштан, цибуля) представлені одинично. Проаналізувавши територію всієї України, стверджуємо, що слово калина найчастіше виступає твірною базою ойконімів, мотивованих назвами рослин (137 ойконімів: Калинівка, Ново- Калинівка тощо). Також засвідчено 74 назви, які мотивовані словом береза, 48 пропріонімів, похідних від слова верба. Ключові слова: топонім, ойконім, апелятив, твірна основа, фітолексема.

Abstract. The relevance of the study is the insufficient analysis of geographical titles of Ukraine with formant -ivk-a. The article is devoted to the analysis of the names of settlements ending in -ivk-a, motivated by names of plants. The study of phytolexemes that formed derivational stems of geographical titles ending in -ivk-a will allow to deepen knowledge of the processes of creation of this type of onyms, will help to better understand the natural features of the country. The names of settlements are founded on the pages of the following sources: “Ukrainian SSR. Administrative-territorial division on September 1, 1946”, “The history of cities and villages of the Ukrainian SSR”, “Administrative-territorial units of Ukraine as of February 1, 2021”. The purpose of the article is to register all titles of settlements ending in -ivk-a, derived from the names of plants; to carry out lexical-semantic analysis of creative bases of onyms. Although mainly geographical titles ending in -ivk-a express the meaning of belonging, and therefore are formed from anthroponyms, we have also recorded oikonyms derived from appellatives. First of all, the formant -ivk-a, having developed its productivity, created the model of formation of geographical titles from common names. Secondly, Renaming of numerous settlements throughout territory of Ukraine in the 20th century (the consequence of Verkhovna Rada URSR Presidium’s Decree “About preserving, readjusting and streamlining existing titles of village councils and settlements” valid from 7.09.1946) and the 21st century (two waves of renaming of settlement names). It caused huge-scale changes in oikonymic system of Ukraine. Results and conclusions: 724 oikonyms with -ivk-a formant derivational bases of which are the names of plants were recorded. Аmong the phytolexemes as the derivational stems of oikonyms, we distinguish the following groups: 1) names of trees (conifers: pine, spruce), (deciduous trees: oak, alder, hornbeam, birch), (fruit trees: apple, cherry, apricot, pear – 382 oikonyms); 2) shrubs and herbaceous plants (viburnum, raspberry, onion, garlic – 305 settlement titles); 3) the names of a set of plants (grove, forest – 19 oikonyms). Some of them, such as viburnum, birch, willow, raspberry, oak, etc., are common throughout Ukraine, others, for example, wild cherry, chestnut, onion are represented by one or two isolated examples. Having analysed the territory throughout Ukraine, we claim that the word viburnum most often serves as a derivational basis of the names of settlements, motivated by the names of plants (137 oikonyms: Kalynivka, Novo-Kalynivka, etc.). There are also 74 names motivated by the word birch, 48 proper names derived from the word willow. Keywords: toponym, oikonym, appellative, derivational stem, phytolexeme.
