Особливості політології в Угорській і Чеській Республіках

Abstract

In connection with the preparaton to the European Union entrance the curricula and manuals in politology in the Czech and Hunganan Republics have a number of specific features. The author tries to describe them bniefly, in particular, to stress that in the Czech Republic the main feature in the curricula is the correlation of liberalism and democracy, the essence of the pluralistic democracy, the elaboration of conceptions of common development in the countries of the European Union (without losing any country’s specific features), the operational curricula of the European Union, the future of Europe, est. Moreover, the politologists of the Czech Republic try to teach students how to learn (manuals with the material, taken from readers and problem questions). In the author’s opinion, Hungarian politologists are closer to the German school, which takes into account empirical consideration of politics, applying quantitative methods, emphasize the explanation of the relations between causes and consequences. Some elements of instruction methodology from neighborly countries may be borrowed.
