Моменти Ермiта зображень та їхнi iнварiанти

Abstract

Нехай 𝐻 – пiдгрупа афiнної групи площини Aff(2,R), яка розглядається разом з своєю природною дiєю на iнтегровнi функцiї вiд двох змiнних визначенi в деякiй обла- стi Ω ⊆ R2. Для фiксованої сiм’ї многочленiв {𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)}∞ 𝑛,𝑛=0 розглянемо функцiонал 𝜋𝑚,𝑛 = 𝜋𝑚,𝑛(𝑓) = ∫︁∫︁ Ω 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑑𝑥𝑑𝑦, який називається 𝑃-моментом функцiї 𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦) порядку 𝑚+𝑛. Дiя групи 𝐻 продовжу- ється на 𝑃-моменти за формулою ℎ𝜋𝑚,𝑛(𝑓) = 𝜋𝑚,𝑛(ℎ−1𝑓) ∫︁∫︁ Ω 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑓(ℎ−1(𝑥, 𝑦))𝑑𝑥𝑑𝑦, ℎ ∈ 𝐻. Iнварiанти цiєї дiї називаються 𝑃-моментними iнварiантами. Якщо функцiю 𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦) ототожнити з напiвтоновим зображенням, а за групу 𝐻 взяти групи обертань, групу розтягiв або групу паралельних перенесень площини, то вiдповiднi моменти зображень та їхнi моментнi iнварiанти широко використовуються в теорiї розпiзнавання образiв. Задача задовiльного опису моментних iнварiантiв задовiльно розв’язана лише у най- простiшому випадку 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥𝑚𝑦𝑛. В данiй статтi, для пари бi-ортогональних сiмей многочленiв Ермiта, задачу знаходження моментних iнварiантiв зведено до за- дачi розв’язання деякого диференцiального рiвняння в частинних похiдних першого порядку, яке виникає при переходi вiд дiї групи Лi до дiї її алгебри Лi. Для кожної iз згаданих груп знайдено явний вигляд дiї її алгебри Лi на моменти Ермiта i вказанi явно моментнi iнварiанти невеликих порядкiв. Let 𝐻 be a subgroup of the plane affine group o Aff(2,R), which is considered with its natural action on the integrated functions of two variables defined in some domain Ω ⊆ R2. For a fixed family of polynomials {𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)}∞ 𝑛,𝑛=0 consider the functional 𝜋𝑚,𝑛 = 𝜋𝑚,𝑛(𝑓) = ∫︁∫︁ Ω 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑑𝑥𝑑𝑦, which is called the 𝑃-moment of the function 𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦) of order 𝑚 + 𝑛. The action of the group 𝐻 defined on the 𝑃-moments according to the formula ℎ𝜋𝑚,𝑛(𝑓) = 𝜋𝑚,𝑛(ℎ−1𝑓) ∫︁∫︁ Ω 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦)𝑓(ℎ−1(𝑥, 𝑦))𝑑𝑥𝑑𝑦, ℎ ∈ 𝐻. The invariants of this action are called the 𝑃-moment invariants. If the function 𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦) is identified with a halftone image, and for the group 𝐻 we take the group of rotations, the scaling group or the plane translation group, then the corresponding moments and their moment invariants are widely used in the pattern recognition. The problem of a complete description of moment invariants is solved only in the simplest case 𝑃𝑚,𝑛(𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥𝑚𝑦𝑛. In this article, for a pair of bi-orthogonal families of Hermite polynomials, the problem of finding theirs moment invariants is reduced to the problem of solving some first order partial differential equation, which occurs during the transition from the action of the Lie group to the action of its Lie algebra. For each of the mentioned groups, an explicit form of the action of its Lie algebra on the Hermite moments are found and the moment invariants of small orders are found in an explicit way.
