Вивчення антагоністичної дії субаліну на збудники кишкових інфекцій курей in vitro in vivo

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the studies of antagonistic effect of subalinum on the agents of colibacillosis and salmonellosis in chickens in the experiments carried out both on nutrient media and on poultry. In the in vitro experiments subalinum showed higher antagonistic activity towards the genus Salmonella bacterial culture (the growth inhibition zone was 17-26 mm), than to E.coli strains pathogenic for chickens (the growth inhibition zone was 10-18 mm). Daily prophylactic and therapeutic doses of subalinum for experimental collibacilosis and salmonellosis infections were estimated, which amounted accordingly 120-140 million CFU and 150 million CFU per head.
