| Abstract: | The basal and stress-induced levels of the a-atrial natriuretic peptide (a-ANP) in the septum, preoptic area, mediobasal hypothalamus and amygdaloid nuclei of the intact and prenatally stressed rats were investigated. It was determined, that immobilization of the intact male rats Ieads to significant decrease of the a-ANP levels in all studied structures. Prenatally stressed animals had no reaction of the brain a-ANP induced bу immobilization. |
