Літературно-художні антропоніми в ретророманах Андрія Кокотюхи із циклу «Вигнанець»

Abstract

У сучасному мовознавстві ще недостатньо вивчено потенційні можливості літературно-художніх антропонімів прозових текстів відомих авторів. Тому вивчення власного імені героя потребує особливої уваги, а його ґрунтовний аналіз відкриває можливості для подальших узагальнень у царині відповідної лінгвостилістичної проблематики. Мета нашої статті – дослідження літературно-художніх антропонімів, що функціонують у ретророманах Андрія Кокотюхи із циклу «Вигнанець». Наше завдання – виявити всі літературно-художні антропоніми, з’ясувати їхнє енциклопедичне та смислове навантаження, звернути увагу на мотиви виникнення прізвиськ, визначити роль онімів у творчому задумі автора. Детальний аналіз літературно-художніх антропонімів ретророманів Андрія Кокотюхи із циклу «Вигнанець» дозволив виявити індивідуально-стильові особливості творення власних назв персонажів й окреслити інтегральні та диференційні тенденції в розвитку літературно-художньої антропонімії. Доведено, що всі літературно-художні антропоніми наділені значним характеристичним потенціалом. Зафіксовано цілу низку інформаційно-оцінних літературно-художніх антропонімів, серед яких виділяються найменування, що характеризують персонажа за зовнішніми ознаками (вадами, виглядом, розумовими здібностями), за родом діяльності, за манерою поведінки (мовлення). Значну частину досліджених літературно-художніх антропонімів становлять назви відтопонімного та відантропонімного походження. Подається опис найменувань літературних героїв, визначається їх функційно-стилістичне навантаження, виражальні можливості, роль у створенні образів. Розкрито етимологічне значення (внутрішню форму) літературно-художніх антропонімів, їх смислові та емоційні наповнення, що характеризують персонажа за різними ознаками. На вибір імені героя великий вплив має передовсім авторський задум. Джерелом творення літературно-художніх антропонімїв А. Кокотюхи є традиційна українська антропонімія. Літературно-художні антропоніми із серії «Вигнанець» цікаві своїм наповненням. Серед величезної кількості назв персонажів виділяються реальні та авторські утворення. Їх роль у тексті величезна: працюють на образ, на ідею, вказують на авторські уподобання.

In modern linguistics, the potential of proper names of the literary heroes in prose texts by well-known authors is still insufficiently studied. Therefore the study of the hero’s own name requires special attention, and its thorough analysis opens up opportunities for further generalizations in the field of relevant linguistic and stylistic issues. The purpose of our article is to study the proper names of the literary heroes that function in Andriy Kokotyukha’s retronovels from the “Exile” series. Our task is to identify all proper names of the literary heroes, to find out their encyclopedic and semantic load, to pay attention to the motives of the nicknames formation, to determine the role of onyms in the creative idea of the author. A detailed analysis of the proper names of the literary heroes of Andriy Kokotyukha’s retro-novels from the “Exile” series revealed individual and stylistic peculiarities of creating characters’ own names and outlined integral and differential tendencies in the development of literary anthroponymy. It is proved that all proper names of the literary heroes have got a significant characteristic potential. A number of information-evaluative proper names of the literary heroes have been recorded, among which are the names that characterize the character by external features (defects, appearance, mental abilities); by type of activity, manner of behavior (speech). A significant part of the studied proper names of the literary heroes are names of toponymic and anthroponymic origin. A description of the names of literary heroes is given, their functional and stylistic load, expressive possibilities, role in the creation of images are determined. The article also reveals the etymological meaning (internal form) of the proper names of the literary heroes, their semantic and emotional content, which characterize the character on various grounds. The choice of the hero’s name is greatly influenced primarily by the author’s idea. The source of creation of A. Kokotyukha’s proper names of the literary heroes is traditional Ukrainian anthroponymy. Proper names of the literary heroes from the series “Exile” are interesting for their content. Among the huge number of names of characters stand out real and authorial formations. Their role in the text is huge: they work on the image, on the idea, point to the author’s preferences.
