Abstract

We assume, that women with pregnancy vomiting have infringements in stomach motility. The research was purposed to study the behavior of slow-speed stomach pulsation activity with occurrence of vomiting pregnancy (VP). The method of electrogastrography (EGG) is used for the research of slow-speed stomach pulsation activity. The main group of observed pregnant women had their biopotential indexes almost in margins of а normal EGG, they equaled 2,9 ± 0,3 cpm, and the voltage was 0,20 ± 0,02 mv. The stomach disrhythmia was revealed in the general group of the observed women. The combination of tachigastrokinesia with hypergastrokinesia is met in 10,7 % of observations, with hypogastrokinesia in 14,3 % of observations, bradygastrokinesia with hypergastrokinesia in 23,2 %, with hypogastrokinesia in 30,4 %. Normal gastrokinesia was matched with hypergastrokinesia and hypogastrokinesia in 5,4 % and 7, І % of cases accordingly. The appearance and intensification of vomiting among women with PV during the interdigestion period was followed bу an increase in EGG voltage at the average of 0,56 ± 0,04 mv, and waves frequency of 0,95 ± 0,01 cpm. Supposedly, electrogastrography may positively help while choosing the way of PV treatment in dependency of the mioelectrical stomach activity.
