Abstract

The influence of iodined оіІ upon the functional state of hypophysis-thyroid system in patients with alcoholism depending оn ecologically conditioned iodine supply and correction with iodined оіІ have been investigated. Й has been shown that the application of iodined оіІ individually and combination with conventional treatment provides sufficient normalization of the hypophysis-thyroid system functioning as well as the formation of iodine reserves under the conditions of deferent ecologically conditioned iodine supply. It gives good ground for the implementation of iodine correction in every patients with alcoholism, accompanied with excessive losses of this microelement with the urine.
